WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE? DO I NEED TO MAIL BACK MY RSVP OR CAN I RSVP ONLINE?

Our RSVP Deadline is May 21, 2024.
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before the deadline.  You can
RSVP in one of the following ways:
a) Online using the QR code on our wedding invitation which will take you to our website.
b) Go directly to our website to RSVP:                              carynsimms-shawnsampson.wedsites.com
c) Mail back the enclosed RSVP card.
We understand circumstances can arise where you might no longer be able to attend.  Should that be the case, we ask that you update your RSVP online to reflect the changes ASAP.  We have limited venue space and would like to invite others if you're unable to join us.
                                   
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
As much as we'd love to have your little ones join us, we're having an adults-only celebration due to space limitation. This will allow you to have a much deserved night off to celebrate with us, ending with an After Party!
                                   
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
We are sadly at capacity with our venue which means we will only be able to accommodate the number of guest(s) listed on your RSVP card. We look forward to celebrating with you on our wedding day!
                                   
DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS?
Yes, please visit the "Accommodations" page on our website for hotel blocks and other recommended hotels. Deadline to reserve your room at Residence Inn or Canopy is Thursday, June 20, 2024 before 5:00pm ET.
                                   
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
The dress code for our wedding is

WHAT IS THE WEDDING ITINERARY
Please visit the "Event Schedule" page for complete itinerary.  Ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lawn, weather permitting, and will begin promptly; followed by Cocktail Hour, Reception, and After Party!
                                   
HOW DO I GET TO THE WEDDING VENUE?

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK? IS PARKING FREE?
We have arranged for complimentary Valet service for our guests who are driving.  Drive to the venue entrance and you will be greeted by a parking attendant.
                                     
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FROM HOTEL TO VENUE/BACK?
Yes, transportation will be provided to and from
the following hotels at specific times.  

Hyatt Regency on the Hudson, Jersey City
Canopy By Hilton, Jersey City Arts District 
Residence Inn by Marriott, Jersey City 
                 
Pick up and drop off times will be confirmed closer to the wedding date. 
                                     
Those who are not staying at any either of the hotels listed above can opt to drive or UBER/TAXI. 
                                     
WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
The Ceremony and Reception will take place at the same location (Hudson House).  Ceremony will be outdoors on the Lawn, along side the Venue.  If we encounter inclement weather, the Ceremony will take place indoors.  Ladies, heel protectors for grass will be available.
                                     
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY?
Please arrive at the Venue by 5:45pm.
We would like to have everyone seated at 6:00pm to ensure you have a wonderful experience.
                                     
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?
After the ceremony, guests will be escorted to cocktail hour where we will be serving 
hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
                                     
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Yes, we will have a 5 hour open bar.
                                     
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED AT YOUR WEDDING?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of selected entrees.
                                     
WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?
Yes, please list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
                                     
WHAT TIME WILL YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION END?  IS THERE AN AFTER-PARTY?
Our Reception ends at midnight, followed by an After Party on the Rooftop, ending at 1:00am.
                                     
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR?
The average temperate in NJ in July is upper 70's to 80's and can be humid. We recommend checking the weather closer to our wedding date.

We ask that you capture special memories at any point during our wedding as long as it doesn't interfere with our professional photographer/videographer.  We want to see them all so please use our hashtag #SimmplySampsons if posting to social media. We'll also have QR code signages during the reception to upload to our Photo Sharing Site.

As Covid becomes a part of our lives, if you do get sick with Covid or do not feel well, please stay home.  While we will miss you dearly, we understand that your health is most important.  Please do let us know if you're unwell.
